Ashlee knocks our socks off!

This past Tuesday, September 25, the Miamaids went to watch Ashlee play volleyball. She is a Sophomore on the VARSITY team at Anderson! Blocking, spiking, setting, and passing, Ashlee helped her team to dominate their opponents. We had a great time at your game Ash, good luck with the rest of your season.

Way to go Rita! Her contribution in the color guard helped Anderson's Band take first overall in the Western Brown Competition! Keep up the good work. :)

Dance Off

Tuesday we had an awesome activity thanks to Rita, Jill & Sammi! Thanks for all your hard work girls ;) The young women and even some of us leaders strutted our stuff out on the dance floor. We were divided up into teams and got to pick our music and choreograph a routine. The "Yo-Mama's!" (Hannah, Sariah, Sis. Woolf, Sis. Glutz, Sis. Blake & Sis. Beck) got the party started with a country routine. They had a short but spicy number, full of spirit fingers and even a little hip shaking.

The "Ben-gals!"(Hanna, Nicole, Jill, LaTika, Sis Curtis, Baby Curtis, & Katie Christensen) had a longer, more difficult hip-hop routine that even had some stunts included. The girls broke it down with their own solo's to end with a bang.

Our esteemed judges--Karla, Rita & Sammi critiqued our work and then awards were given out for choreography, best moves, best faces, and best spirit.
