Young Women in Excellence

Tuesday, November 27 we had our anual Young Women in Excellence. This is an opportunity for the girls to really showcase their personal progress achievements and be recognized for all of the hard work they put into earning their young womanhood medallion. We had a short program in the chapel where the young women shared personal stories of their experiences with the personal progress program. Everyone did a fantastic job and I think all who were in attendance were very overwhelmed with love and humility to be in the presence of such amazing young ladies. The young women and leaders sang a beautiful harmonized version of "Because I have Been Given Much" with the help of Sister Hansen and then we moved to the cultural hall to see the displays that the girls had put together. Each value was represented with various projects that the girls have been working on all year. It was a beautiful room and so much fun to see what everyone has been up to.
