We had a special activity Tuesday, Nov 13 as Sister Beck kicked off our 14 Day Walk With Christ. We were all dressed in shawls and sandals and given "candles" to set the mood. The Relief Society room was decorated very elegantly and peacefully as different images and statues reflected our Savior. As we sat on the floor, Sister Beck spoke about we cannot truly understand a person unless we have walked in their shoes. A beautiful video was shown about the life of Christ and then we were challenged to be inspired by the 14 Day Walk. Each girl was given 14 envelopes to open 1 each day for the next 14 days. Inside are different questions, stories, and thought provoking challenges and statements to help us understand what it means to be a disciple of Christ.
